Dear Families,

Welcome to our school website. The website has been designed to provide up to the date information for students, parents, and the community. In addition to school information, teacher contact information and links, information is also available about the school’s Parent-Teacher Organization. We are most proud that it features an opening page along with the other schools in Moapa Valley to make access easier for families.

Let me take a few minutes to introduce myself. This school year marks my 17th year in education. I am currently working on completing another degree with the UNLV Executive Doctorate Program. Prior to being appointed as the principal at Grant Bowler ES, I have worked with children as a classroom teacher in grades K-5, as a math specialist, a district administrator over mathematics, and an assistant principal. Before moving to Las Vegas in 1996, I lived in Utah where I completed all of my school work. Originally, I was born and raised in Idaho where I had a very happy childhood and learned to love school but I do not miss those Northern winters. I am a fan of all student events, especially the performing arts.

Becoming the principal at Grant Bowler ES has been a tremendous honor. Working with such a dedicated and knowledgeable staff has been a great pleasure. The wonderful and supportive community of caring and giving parents and families has been overwhelming. I am proud of our students and look forward to serving them during this exciting year.
